Prentice Bros.

Tanks were some of the few remaining types of wagon in private ownership after World War II.  Prentice Bros. of Stowmarket was one of several companies set up by that family which dealt with commodities from chemical manure to gun cotton.

These sulphuric acid tank wagons were built in 1929 and are modelled in the condition they might have been seen in the early 1950s. Based on resin Powsides kits, numbers 4 and 10 needed a lot of remedial work to make them into acceptable models, and are both built to Scaleseven standards.
