Welcome to my website which showcases some of the models I have built, painted and/or weathered to commission.
What I do
Most commissions I accept are for painting and lining or weathering, and due to the large number of enquiries for this service, turnaround time from the date of order is usually in the region of six to twelve months. From time to time I also take on a limited number of loco, coach and wagon kit or scratchbuilding commissions and waiting time for these is longer; delivery of a loco build currently stands at approximately 24 months from date of order, so please bear this in mind when making an enquiry.
What I don’t do
I no longer take on building commissions in scales smaller than 7mm, nor do I complete part-built kits or trouble-shoot badly built or poor running models.
I no longer take on commissions to build kits originated by Jim Harris (Oakville, Acorn, Acme, etc), Mega Kits, Ace Products Kits, SM Models, DJB or Steve Beattie; been there, done that, got the T-shirt(s). In my experience, certain kits from these ranges are not of merchantable quality, and I’m not prepared to waste my time or your money on them.
